The Garmin Forerunner® 245M keeps track of where you have walked by GPS, learns about your performance, processes figures and keeps track of your statistics. You can see at a glance whether you are training too much based on your fitness or whether you can train more often. Synchronize music or an entire playlist of selected streaming services, or store up to 500 songs on your watch and listen with wireless earphones.

The watch is specially designed for runners and therefore keeps up with advanced running dynamics. Think of step length and ground contact time and your VO2max will be adjusted. This figure indicates the maximum oxygen uptake capacity (milliliters per kilo per minute), so that you get a good indication of your performance capacity.

The free Garmin Coach on the Forerunner® 245M will prepare a feasible training plan for the 5K, 10K or half marathon. The Body Battery ™ keeps track of your energy reserves based on data collected, so that you know exactly on which days you can best train and rest.

If you connect the running watch with your smartphone, you will receive calls, apps and e-mails via your watch. If you walk with safety and tracking functions such as accident detection, your location will be sent to contacts in real time during an emergency.
